So Kobblestone miniatures shut down in August of 2022.

I was wondering if anyone picked up the rights, the moulds, or the product line itself or should they be considered "forever gone"?

I've been following them for along time. In essence they were out of business years ago but made it formal in August. IMO I would figure them to be forever gone.
