We got our 1745 Jacobite Rising figures on table for the first time playing a game of Sharp Practice, we didnt try balancing forces just getting things on table, this proved a minor disaster but gave us plenty to think about for our next game, write up and lots of images on my blog here: link |

Very entertaining! I have played 1745-46 scenarios before with a variant of The Sword & the Flame rules of my own devising, and they have provided nicely balanced games while also staying true to historical realities. I wish you well in your further exploits! BTW, shouldn't the 43rd Foot (aka Black Watch,at this time) be flying a buff-colored regimental colour along the usual practices? |
