It's been way too long, and way too much drama, but I'm moved into a new place which DOES have space for wargaming, so when the kids came over this weekend, we tried out a little Planet 28.

That pressed cardboard (or whatever it is) packing material is a great base for sci-fi looking structures.

That's awesome. That packing material is richly textured and takes washing and dry brushing very well. Pretty easy to find in the recycling bin, too.
