Very cool pics!!

When placing Gamera on the board you can't help yourself saying… " Say hello to my little friend "

The overall quality of figures, terrain and even the facility seems absolutely amazing.

When I first got to Germany in 2010, my friend Chris Vonfanenstock and I went to a gaming con at a castle close to Hockenheim. Typical of the high quality of modeling and painting skills of the German wargamers, it ranks among the top of the shows we attended! We all could learn some things from attending one of these German and Belgian (Crisis) shows!
This one pictured is typical of what you can see. Above all, everyone I saw at these shows were very cordial, friendly and helpful. Every one I attended I left poorer but with a glow of happiness and joy. Highly recommended if you can make any of them on the continent.

What periods are popular and what periods are not played?

Popular: Ancients, Medieval, Naps, ACW, SYW mainly in 28mm. But 15mm and 20mm still strong there when I was there. (2010-2017)

WWII in all scales.

Not as popular are all the rest, Can't remember ever seeing a naval game being played where I went.

Here are two videos that really shows off some of the talent in Europe. All are 1/72nd scale/ 20mm. Be careful not to drool too much on your keyboard! 8>)
