"FoW v. 3 - Does it have an active forum somewhere?" Topic

So, I understand that many people did not move on to v. 4.

Is there a forum / Fb group / message board where v.3 is still "the game"

Good question…I'm also one of those that didn't move onto v.4…..following.

I would go on the Facebook – Flames of War Buy/Sell/Trade USA or if you are in England or Europe then go on this Facebook site – FOW Swap Shop which is more of an international site. Not only FOW gamers shop here but anyone who is playing other rules with Battlefront miniatures. If you have older metal infantry these are very much sought after. – If you still want to play with your toys there are plenty of better rules systems out there that you wouldn't even have to rebase your figures.

Our Southern Calif group never went to Ver4.0 too. Von B has a good suggestion.

I do have a bunch of Mint in Blister metals, including Italians, Germans and Americans. I especially have rule books [mint, never read], and at least 15 hardback army books.

I figure the rule books are useful for people who want to spread the v. 3 game to friends. The army books are obviously useful, and actually apply to any system, so I'm uncertain I will move all of them.

Battlefront made most if not all of the V3 army books available as free PDFs just so you know….

Correct, the books are not that much in demand and probably only fetch $5 USD each.
