The Waterloo project is proceeding at pace, with the attention recently on the area East of La Belle Alliance showcasing the four Service Squadrons of Guard cavalry, the Engineers and Marins of the Guard, two new carriages and two companies of the Foot Artillery of the Guard. I hope you like them. It's a work in progress. There are more 2nd Lancers to come and the whole of the Empress Dragoon Squadron. I'm incredibly grateful to my many collaborators on this project.
There is still quite a lot of snagging to overcome, with the figures better blended into the scenery but it is coming along. If you want more please take a look at my blog here: generalpicton.blogspot.com |

We all send in this stuff, but it only comes to life when you have based it to this standard. I am frantically working on a reinforcement of the Red Lancers (Les Higgins riders on simply superb plastic ?Italeri? horses) for next month's expo down your way. But I will add the AM lancers from the Prussians (when they finally get through the current postage chaos in the UK) You cannot have too many Red Lancers. I gather that, even on early on 18th June, the opposite applied. |

Utterly fantastic, as ever. The photography as much as the modelling. |

It's like taking a camera drone back in time |

Thanks all, still plenty of snagging to overcome. Some of the transitions from base to scenery are too primitive. The tracks aren't painted yet. There are glue streaks and the whole thing needs vacuum cleaning. |

People seem to enjoy the vignettes as well as the massed Napoleonic troops, so here are some close-ups. The camera is cruel in this scale!!
Hope you enjoy! |

Oh believe me, James is good at inspiring us all to achieve. I think it owes much to his previous working life and leadership that he can get the best out of people, especially when we are flagging. |
