Eventually I could complete my Murat and Russian Generals collection by Sho Boki, horses with the exception of the grey one – also from Sho. Sho did create very nice Russian generals, marshals and other Russian staff for 1812, as well as Murats in diverse dress.

Russian generals here a Uvarov – Sievers and Korff

as indicated in the header, those miniatures are by Sho Boki and 18 mm – I tink he did 8 or 9 Murats.

Great paintings as usual. Bravo!
Back to old style?

Murats are in 9 variants and Russian Borodino Generals&ADC in 27.
On some day I will make also Platov to pair with Uvarov.

Indeed Sho back to old style for personality miniatures, about the green I cannot say exactly, a mix of US olive from Andrea (0ver 20 years old) and Asian flesh to create a light green underpainting or base colour and then I just mixed various greens from my artist water colours for the wash, this time I did not write down what I used, sorry for that, but the green is too light in my view.
