Don't want anyone else to touch your dice.
Carry your own dice in a bag.
Carry a variety of dice with you so you are always prepared.
Hold your dice and roll them a certain way to get better results.
Test your dice to see which die rolls better.
Constantly rolling your dice even when it's not your turn.
Will turn the place upside down to find one die.
Have a different dice for each set of rules you play.
Use dice that have the same color as your figure's uniforms.
Talk to your dice, even when you're not in a game.
Sleep with your dice under your pillow.
Keep the plastic case the dice came with to store them in.
Take a hammer to your dice when you roll poorly during an entire game.
You give your dice a name.

After reading this twice and ticking off the ones that apply, I've come to a realization.
I HAVE A DICE FETISH!

A recent change for many gamers is that there will be reluctance to share dice when there are various transmissible diseases about.

I would not like to play a game wherein the dice were in a bag and various folk swilled them about and grabbed one.

Seeing how gamers like to blow on, rub and otherwise intimate their dice stops me from sharing.

I do take care to provide my own dice (plus pen, paper etc) for any game I attend. It shows that I am involved and not just a dipper.

I have trouble with the "different dice for each set of rules" and "different dice to match the color of army uniforms." Works for horse & musket, of course, but surely in moderns, fantasy and SF you need different dice--with appropriate symbols--for each nation, race or alignment?

(One of this year's projects is dice with the Vichy French "Frankish Axe" for my WWII games. Then it's on to the Dwarves.)

I do prefer to think of it as an obsession or addiction rather than a fetish, though. Nothing to do with sex or religion.

At least not MY sex life or MY religion. OC, if you really have a dice fetish, please don't tell us about it.

Word of advice, if any of the above apply, stay away from the Craps Table, or large men in Tuxedos will indicate their disapproval!

Of these, I have multiple dice bags (I have a lot of dice), and keep Chessex dice sets in the plastic case they came in. I also have an acrylic cube that formerly held candy which now houses several sets of "Official" D&D dice (which I got because they were on sale, not because they were "official").
Alas, I just got two more of these sets, and there's no more room in the cube… whatever am I gonna do?

But I have never, ever, gotten out my dice, rolled them around in my hands and murmured "My precious…" over and over.
At least, not when anyone could see or hear me.

My dice to have national colors, no other country can use them and count. Has to be yours or no dice

The hammer only comes down on every 10th die – as an example to the others.

There was a youtube animated series that covered a guy's rpg experiences and the term I'm stealing, and my daughter assigned me, is a "Dice Dragon". It's my horde and I will protect my piles.

I admit, I am guilty of a couple of these. But I can give it up any time I want. I just choose not to give it up…

I fantasize about having a pair of dice that have "6" on each side, for my use only.

I once set fire to a pair of old dice from Las Vegas (their luck had run out, Ha!) I was surprised at how flammable they were… :-o
