Looking for cheap chinese dollar-store type vehicles that are suitable for modern and near future or hard sci-fi games. More interested in ones that look like military vics, but civilian ones might work with a paint job and a gun on top! I found a few by Kai Jal but they seem to be out of business – shame! No luck at WalMart and the Dollar Tree or Dollar General US chains. Any suggestions especially for a chain that still carries cheap toys would be welcome! One person said they dried up with covid in favor of other cheap medical stuff, so that's a possibliity. |

I used Hotwheels and Matchbox vehicles when I did 15mm. Some are too big, but most are pretty close. |

I literally picked up a bunch today, that I'm likely not going to use. I think I've decided to go with 28mm. I've got seven vehicles, two tractor trailers and two helicopters (primed). Say $25.00 USD postpaid for the lot. Email me if interested. nnascati@gmail.com |

I got some packs of tanks at the Dollerama, that will convert to 15mm sf nicely. They were packaged with a ship and some anti aircraft guns that don't scale but were still pretty cheap. Add a few gubbins and paint them up and they'll look just fine. |

Search with different keywords on Aliexpress e-shops. Very cheap, good quality. |

Your local model railroad club who is having a swap-meet, or other, should have lots of "stuff" for your needs. |

Stick a representative figure in your pocket and wander down the toy aisle. There lots of die cast vehicles that will work. |

@Valderian Hmmm, ali express won't let me verify an account without giving them my phone number – there's no other option to verify an account, despite the obvious norm of getting a code via email. Seems fishy to me! As I don't want to get constant phone calls and text messages about Asian smut, I think I'll have to pass. |
