Any info to share on the colors of the artillery carriages of the four nations involved, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay? |

I know almost nothing about the War of the Triple Alliance, but when I researched the Greeks for their 1897 war with the Ottomans, I found they bought Krupp guns and used the Krupp livery of light gray carriages and black barrels. My impression is that neither Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, not Paraguay were notable gun manufacturers, so if you can't find any specifics, I'd try to find out what the default livery of the manufacturer was and just go with that. If you trust the Perrys' research, check out the photos of the Triple Alliance artillery models on their website. |

Extrabio1947, thanks! I forgot about the color photos on the Perry site. Looks like olive green for the Brazilians and green or natural wood for the Paraguyans. |
