1. The Chairman of Blackrock is Pres. Obama's former National Security Advisor, Tom Donilon

2. Tom Donilon's brother, Mike Donilon, is Biden's top Senior Advisor, and was the chief strategist for the 2020 Biden Campaign.

3. Tom Donilon's wife, Catherine Russell, is the White House Personnel Director.

4. Tom Donilon's daughter, Sarah Donilon, who graduated college in 2019, now works on the White House National Security Council.

5. Blackrock CEO Larry Fink has deep ties to senior Democrats, and had been considered by Hilary Clinton as Secretary of the Treasury had she won the 2016 election.

Blackrock is hugely successful at making money for its investors and has been targeted by the left for years because of it's connection to polluting industries. It is well connected to both parties and their leaders. It's recent environmental position change does not mean much yet.
