…Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of Putin's advisory security council, took to Twitter to share his "humble contribution" to what he thinks could unfold in the new year."Civil war will break out in the U.S.," he said in a list of wild predictions. "California and Texas becoming independent states as a result. "Texas and Mexico will form an allied state," he continued. "Elon Musk'll win the presidential election in a number of states which, after the new Civil War's end, will have been given to the GOP."… Fox News: link |

If that reflects the quality of advice received by Putin from his security council it explains a lot. |

What a slap in the face to the integrity of the Mexican government. |

Interesting to know whether that represents a serious analysis by a Russian leader, or if he is just having fun. If serious, I agree that his knowledge of US affairs seems lacking. |

Just because you translate the "American Autoduel Association" documents into Russian, it doesn't mean they will suddenly come true. |

Was this the same chief advisor that told Putin they could defeat the Ukraine in a few days ? Inch High Guy +1 knowledge of US affairs seems lacking. A lot of that seems to be going around … |

Ummmm, kind of need a new US constitution in order for this little Russian-wet dream to occur. Last time I checked ol Elon was born in South Africa. As it stands he could never be the president of the US. Why let reality get in the way of a good Fox-sponsored bed time story? |

Putin's clown, court jester, drunkard. No one in Russia takes him seriously. Beside himself. Though you can't be sure. |

Hmmm, seems to violate the "no politics" rule, but I'll play since you brought it up. Can't really see TX and Mexico allying into one state, unless the Narcos flooding over the border now get control of the TX government, which I suppose is possible, given their large numbers and financial backing/profits. I can see CA seceding, and/or allying with Oregon and Western WA, especially after the eastern half of the latter secedes and merges with Idaho. Given current polarization vectors, and over-reach/censorship, I can see a civil war breaking out. Many conservatives were attacked by Antifa and liberal groups for expressing their views in numerous cities and police were told to stand down and not help them by their leftist mayors. Some even believe we are already in the grips of it, and have been for some time, especially considering the 574 riots during the Summer of 2020, prior to that election, in which many were throwing molotov cocktails at our law enforcement personnel and various governmental and private buildings. In some cases, whole sections of cities were burned to the ground, and the financial cost of that was in the BILLIONS. Earlier this year a man admitted to running over a conservative and killing him with his automobile, since he disagreed with his politics and felt threatened. He was amazingly, released on bond. |
