Hello
I really enjoyed playing For King or Empress SYW rules at a convention that was put on by First Command Wargames *the demo *
I truly love Baccus miniatures and my favorite scale is 6mm. Has anybody ever played FKOE in 6mm and could 60mm wide bases work for the game instead of 40?

If you have tried it out could you tell me how it went for you. I am trying to decide how to base my armies. Do I go 60mm wide so I can possibly play other rule sets as well or do I go with 40mm which is how I played at the demo? Does changing the base sizes effect how FKOE is played?

I am relatively new to being social about my wargaming so forgive me if these questions are stupid.

Thank you very much for any and all help.

Brad

Unfortunately, I can't help with your basing question. However, your inquiry is not remotely stupid and I think you will (by and large) find a very helpful community here at TMP who welcome the opportunity to help one another. Good luck with your 7YW project.

I have met him he is great and ran a fun game. Alas no facebook for me. I stay away from most social media and try to keep my opinions to myself in all things except wargaming hah.

If you are more comfortable with 60mm, go with that. My 15mm SYW are based for Might & Reason but I still play multiple different rulesets with them, including For King or Empress.

In a couple years I will take the Might and Reason challenge and do it in 15mm. Its a rule set I have heard alot about but never have had a chance to see it played etc.
