A Forbes article on how a Ukrainian tank brigade held off the initial Russian attack toward Kiev, and then beat them back. Great insight into how both sides fought around the Ukrainian capital during the initial months of the war.

Wow !! Very Interesting ! Again, shows the Ukraine had tactical and technical superiority. Even being outnumbered. Their superior training, motivation, leadership and their upgraded T-64s cost the Russians severely. The Russians pretty much failed on all levels, it seems. That seems to be their standard. Even outnumbering the Ukrainian 1st Tank Bde, they could never cut off the Ukraine's supply lines. Where the Ukraine's SF raided the Russian supplies.

The Ukraine's FA units were skillfully used. To effectively attrite the Russians.

The Russians have not performed this poorly since 1941 ?

Would be an interesting boardgame after the war is over. Should probably be studied by militaries all over the world.
