Today the story went out that "bad weather" is preventing him from being flown from Rostov to Moscow for further treatment.
Yet, other aircraft are making the trip even as I write.
There is a plausible story going round that the OTHER major boil on the bum of humanity, Prigozhin, is holding things up in order to let his rival die in place.
And, like most human scum, they are so much more alike than different.
Yet, Rogozhin has a special pedigree. He's an avowed Nazi sympathizer, rabid anti-semite, and I've seen the old TV footage of him delivering a speech on his perceived "duty" to help defend the "White Race" from all comers, and finish with a flourishing "Sieg Heil!" salute.
We always hope that such overt racist, hateful little men mostly hide in their rooms, drinking themselves blind over their frustrated dreams of power, but some still manage to stagger out of doors. And if they make the right friends (i.e. Putin), appointment to fortune-making posts far above their intellectual rank are still possible.
Not a very Christmas (not to say Christian) attitude on my part, but Hell isn't hot enough for some people.
