Hi folks,

Just wanted to post some AAR for our new WW2 North Africa campaign where we are refighting Operation Battleaxe.

There have been two battles so far and they are discussed in the blog post. Cheers!

Not enough campaigns any more, so this is great. I really like the map that you are using.

@aegisc47 – definitely agree that there are not enough campaigns, but they are hard to run and keep interesting.

Eric, that's FANTASTIC!

I hope you'll continue to post updates as the Battleaxe campaign progresses.

Also, what a great blog, with so many high-quality games, and in so many different periods!

Btw, in response to a guest entry from Bill Koff, I used to campaign with my slot cars at the local tracks in town here back in the 60s – I still have my carrying case and the cars too (I think). A hobby shop in the area Mark Twain Hobbies, still sells a good selection of sets, and individual cars (but I've resisted the "revival' urge). :)))

Again, enjoying the thread here and the excellent blog links.

@FlyXWire, thank you for all the kind words and glad you could find some interesting blog posts on the site.

I'm not very focused on one wargaming period, so I tend to have a LOT of unfinished, but very playable, projects.

Campaigns are hard to complete but trying is half the fun! Good luck!

This is an awesome idea, and I really enjoyed the first two batreps, though that first one certainly hurt!

Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see more.
