I think publishers must have it in for me. They just don't want me to catch up with my unread mountain of books.

Osprey are bringing out this month (22nd) a new Napoleonic title.

Berezina 1812 by (Campaign Series 383) by Alexander Mikaberidze.

Of course, it is now on my list to buy, along with the other titles mentioned in previous post on forthcoming titles. Not sure how I'm going to spare any cash for presents for other people though. I'm sure they'll understand. LOL

The above title should sit nicely alongside the author's larger (284 pages) and more detailed version The Battle of the Berezina published by Pen & Sword military (2010).

Looks like us Napoleonic enthusiasts are going to be spoilt this Christmas, lucky us!

Yes, Ospreys are good for scenario development and the more detailed book is great for…well…detail! I'll be picking up his new one on Kutuzov as well.

But….what the heck have they done to their website? It used to be "ok" now it is awful….

glad to see that I am not the only one to see the new website totally awful…before I had always the curiosity to visit it, now it is a foil, they will lost customers I am afraid, my interest in Osprey is already declining, only 4 news Men At Arms for 2023, a sad record

Agree about their website; was scanning it last week for ideas to put on my wish list for Christmas – nearly lost the will. I tend to buy more from Helion these days as they produce more in depth studies of periods that interest me.

I've just ordered the Berezina volume. It is one of the most interesting, along with Essling and Dresden, of the Napoleonic era.

Definitely would get this one, have number of full books of Alexander and always good reads
