A walking tour of the private museum which rebuilds old tanks, often to running condition:

YouTube link

Hundreds of exhibits including a Goliath demolition tank, a Jagd Panther, a Panther, a Tiger I, three Panzer IVs, a rare Stug IV and the Australian-modified M113 support vehicle which has a Saracen armoured car turret on top. This last was used during the Vietnam War.

The Tiger has spare bits of a broken Tiger behind so that visitors can get a sense of how thick the armour really was.

An outstanding museum which is also the venue for regular miniatures gaming evenings, contact them for dates and details if in the vicinity. It's a superb location.

Loved the tour. But this is two Wednesdays in a row with nothing on their Grant and Stug restoration projects. I wonder what's up?

@robert p:
Christmas is coming – perhaps they are gearing up for the season?

On my bucket list to visit this place.

I stopped watching the youtube because I realised it was epic from it and I want to see it for real.

@MILSPEX78:
I know what you mean. I stopped watching 'pron' films (wink) for the same reason!
