Gentlemen, Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, I decided to make a return trip to Chalons. This first part of a two-part project details my refight of two-thirds of the battle using amended Armati rules. link (As per usual, any grammatical or spelling errors are entirely my own. I would hope that I've caught all of them after the careful proofreading process, but . . .)
Thanks in advance for your time and comments.
Cheers, Chris |

Chris, I strongly recommend you get MacDowell's Campaign series book on the Catalaunian Fields. He posits a completely different location for this seminal battle. Plus the book itself is a good read. Jim |

Jim, Thanks for the strong recommendation. I will add it to my list. Fear that holiday lists will keep me busy for the next few weeks, so perhaps in the new year? Based on your feedback, you may or may not want to take the time to look over Part 2, which I hope to have edited and posted by next week. Cheers, Chris |
