Has anyone run an historical zombie game rather than a modern one? Romans, Celtics, Vikings, Aztecs, ECW, Napoleonic, ACW, etc. vs zombies & if so what rules did you use? I've run several WWWII zombie games at cons & I'd like to zombify other eras. If you have, what zed minis did you use--conversions or the GW plastic zeds who have tattered clothes that fit any era. Are there Norse or Amerind or Wild West zombie figures available?
Thanks

I did one set in the Thirty Years War. I think the rules were Pike, Shot and zombies. Besides the zombies every player had different goals and motives.

Nappy zombies for The Silver Bayonet. Conversions of Victrix figures — all plastic figures are easily zedified!

Foundry has some zombies for the American West. The Dracula's America line (carried by Brigade in the US) has a number of "historical zombie" figures.

Eureka has some French Revolutionaries link

And a Napoleon "Blownapart"

Ragnorok does a lot of Norse themed fantasy battle minis like zombies, but also dwarves and goblins: ragnarokminiatures.co.uk

Back when I did cons, I would run a Roman zombies game "Carpe Cerebra."

It was basically the Zombies! boardgame using 3D terrain and 28mm Zombie miniatures. Instead of getting to the chopper, you have to get to Cleopatra's chariot.

Great for kids, loads of fun. I even made a themed card deck.

Matchlock Miniatures has Regency zombies, as well as the living cast of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, the Bennet sisters et al.

At the bottom of the list are the rules for Jane Austen Zombie Killer (never seen these played, so can't vouch for them).

Figure size is reported at 32mm.

Space Vixens From Mars has a few characters too, 28mm I think:
