Someone could stand there with the door open when it's too hot out, like hotter than 40 below freezing. I was recently reminded of one time, long long ago, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth… My friends and I were running in and out of the house during the summer for reasons. Important reasons. Finally, with the door open for a while my mom pulled out the old standard, "Were you born in a barn?" When she looked up it was not me or my friends, but my father standing in the doorway talking to the neighbor. He turned around, looked down (from 6'3") at my mom and said, "Well, yeah." Then promptly turned back around and continued talking to the neighbor. |
