Gentlemen,

Tactica II rules, with a few amendments, were employed in the refight of a historical battle between the legions of Caesar and the mustered Germanic warriors of Ariovistus.

You are cordially invited to read and remark upon the finished wargame report:

(Any silly grammatical or spelling errors are entirely my own. I would hope that I've caught all of them after the proofreading process, but . . .)

Thanks in advance for your time and comments.

Cheers,
Chris

That's a great post, Chris. The writing was first-rate, and the photos really showed the critical points of the battle. I think your printed bases did their job, and in the end looked pretty dang good. lastly, I agree with you that Dr. Goldworthy's work is the best go-to resource for a gamer determined to accurately recreate ancient Roman warfare. Well, done, brother! Solo gamers rule!
