My politics are just that: mine. I don't mix my politics with my gaming. Cheers! |

I define the term "mostly" to mean greater than 0% of the time. 1, 2, 3, and 4. |

Define any of the terms however you wish. Where I'm from, liberals and conservatives are generally taken to belong to the same half of the political spectrum. |

Political conservative maybe, I think, I don't really recognize or identify with what passes for "conservatism" these days but liberalism has moved farther and farther afield and I didn't like it to begin with. I guess I'm in the middle these days but only because both sides have moved so far from anything resembling a rational or reasonable perspective. Maybe special relativity could explain it. Anyhow, I love fantasy and pretty much everything else but I lean to everything else, especially science fiction because I've done so much fantasy over the years. |

I would see the worldview of Tolkien and Michael Moorcock as diametrical opposites. Tolkien was a true conservative (ie. conserving) point of view while Moorcock was/is a far left, anarchist. Their respective mythologies reflect this. So, I don't think there is any connection between political philosophy and the ability to write, read or enjoy fantasy. |
