Ran a Bolt Action game Thursday night. We'll attended even had a wait list. Distlefink was packed and several games being run. I realize it's tough for some to get there Thursday but if there were a larger selection of games maybe guys would start the weekend early. Don't have to be large games either. Let's start a conversation. |

With HMGS-South's Recon and Hurricon we have seen a shift. Used to be Thursday was set up and some pick up games with the bulk of the gaming Friday and Saturday with a sprinkling of games Sunday. Our busiest session was Saturday 8 to midnight. But things shifted. Quite a few of our gamers took Friday off from work as it was. Since they took Friday off a good number began showing up late afternoon/early evening on Thursday. Many were taking rooms Thursday and Friday night vice Friday and Saturday night. The idea was they could play all day Friday and the first two sessions Saturday. They could drive home Saturday evening and have Sunday at home with the family vice driving home Sunday morning. With the shift we saw a surge in scheduled Thursday games. We still have a good number taking all three nights, Thursday through Saturday, myself included, but definitely more scheduled Thursday games. |
