All honor to the Queen! My Halfling Snipers have just been billeted in their storage case, and I am happy as a Dwarf under a mountain. It was a smooth a kickstarter as I've seen. I was kept informed at every stage and the troops arrived promptly. As for the troops themselves, I think I own every GW Ratling ever sold, and these may surpass them--full of character and detail, the mess sergeant's nightmare, and no one I'd ever let have line of sight on me. If you missed the kickstarter, keep an eye out for a production run. My only regret is that the heads were either kepis or gas masks. I'm happy with my "petite geste" element in Foreign Legion colors, but if sun helmets become available, I can see myself buying and painting them again twice in Rifle Green and khaki. In the meantime, I'll just play Le Boudin and call it a night. |
