Another gem of a find from cleaning out my Gmail account! (At least for me) This unit was put together to represent Viking Mercenaries or Norse-Irish Gall-Gaedhill way back in the early 2000's! I thought the pictures long lost (the unit was sold on). The unit contains a few simple conversions such as the guy with his foot on the casualty and a few arms were rearranged (they shouldn't be hard to spot!) in order to add a couple of Dane-axes. What rules are they based for? They were originally based for Warhammer Ancient Battles. We were playing it every week at the Edinburgh club at the time. When I base my mini's up nowadays I tend to base them for as many rule systems as possible. So, that would usually be Warhammer Ancient Battles (using casualty markers), Impetus, Mortem et Gloriam, To the Strongest and Swordpoint. My Just Add Water Miniature Painting Blog:

when you had to hand paint everything. Indeed. We are very fortunate these days. Mind, when I start up on an army now, I wither choose to paint the shields or the banners but not (usually) both. There are of course exceptions LOL My Just Add Water Miniature Painting Blog:
