Hello,
I am new to naval miniatures and wishing to get started painting some 1/1200 and 1/2400 ships. But where to start with colors. I need some recommendations for brand and color. I think I should have a red, yellow, ochre, light blue, black, maybe green? I'd like to know what you are using. Hull colors, deck colors, masts, etc. Do you like Citadel? Army Painter? I guess I am suffering from analysis paralysis! I just want a good, standard palette of colors to get started.

As I mentioned, I am a beginner and know my first models I paint will not look all that great. But I want to learn and just need some help and advice getting started.

Thanks for your time!
