The last outing of the newly expanded Never Mind the Bill Hooks Deluxe rules before they went off to the printers. We ran two games at Partizan in Newark UK. A French/Swiss encounter with an early Renaissance Spanish army and a fictional prelude to Stoke Field, set in Ireland featuring a mixed Irish/English/German army vs the All Irish contingent of Lord Butler. I was particularly pleased to field a unit from the late Duncan Mcfarlanes collection that I had rescued and refurbished. Duncan must have been smiling down as his unit went on to win the game!
there are a few more pictures of the action in my blog article, as well as an update on the new 'Never Mind the Bill Hooks rules' set and what periods and theatres they will cover. link regards, Steve |

Really looking forward to the release of Never Mind The Billhooks deluxe. I hadn't played the free version that came Wargames Illustrated but the 'full' version has got me inspired, a new Irish Army for it is under way already. |
