I have to say I love Gmail…. OK, that's not really true! After receiving several emails from Google trying to sell me space to store my emails I did a deep dive into my old files and came across these pictures of my Hundred Years War collection taken by a mate in 2011, possibly the year the Perry's released the range? If not the year before?

You can see more pictures on my Just Add Water Blog here:

Many thanks to David Imrie to taking the pictures.

Yes, i remember these photos, especially the top one.
Always nice to see your late medievals.
One question if i may, where did you get the archers stakes, or did you make them!

Once more into the breach! I can see that you have a marvelous set of figures for the stand on Saint Crispin's Day. Wonderful as always. Atheling, you raise miniatures painting to an art.
Cheers!

It is a different set of pictures I think(?). I'm not really certain but I lost the pictures David took on my behalf

They're from Perry Miniatures Chris, and come in packs of 24.
Available here:

Also, if you like plastics there are a load in the HYW English Army boxes.

Maybe they are different photos, but i remember those in the first photo.

Thanks for pointing me to the stakes by Perries, i was not aware they did those, they look the business.

Yeah, these photo's were lost, I actually thougtht they were on a very old laptop that got wet and died man a moon back so had given up hope of seeing them again.

I wonder if you're thinking opf the English I painted up for then Verneuil 1424 demo game at Salute?

As I'm sure you know, Front Rank (Gripping Beast) also do stakes but they're much more expensive:

Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing

Hmmm, i might have got the photos mixed up!
Your usual beautifully hand painted flags and heraldic eye candy have scrabbled my memory!

Yes i know about front ranks stakes but i have to say those Perry ones look better. I have started a Burgundian army and would like some stakes for the archers, so i will try a pack of those Perry stakes.

Cheers for the heads up on them.

Apart form being very cheap, the Perry stakes are much better quality Chris.
