I make up to 125USD an hour running Dungeons & Dragons games for kids and adults — here's what my job is like

Didn't know that is a thing!
Are there also paid D&D players?
I mean, there must be lonesome masters who long for people to understand and share their fantasies.
Of course, it's much more expensive.

Or, do licenced D&D/RPG Business coaches exist?
You know, those team-building buzzword-bingo events?
That has potential after all.
At least it would be more fun.

From 2015 to 2019 I ran a D&D summer program for teens at my local library where I worked as a teen librarian. I was paid during these sessions, which essentially made me a professional Dungeon Master. I left the library at the end of 2019, but was considering offering the program as a private consultant, and was working with the state librarian association on leading sessions for librarians about D&D and other teen gaming programs— and then COVID hit, pretty much squashing that.

Pay to play online D&D is a thing these days. Although I thought the going rate was closer to $20 USD per person per session.

Now, this is fascinating.
I'm out of rpg for decades, just lurking here and there online.
Have to have a deeper look into this.
So, I see, a lot is online, like on startplaying.games and corporate team building with D&D also exists.

And me, an total Ignoramus always made fun about LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®!

p.s.
A lot of ® in that LEGO brand, must be very important and valuable.

Paid DM's, yep its a thing.
Read an sticker couple years back who a person was making many thousands a month as a pro DM. Multiple games and multiple sessions per game.
Here is an article on pro DMing below.
