These 28 mm figures happened to catch my eye the other day. They are the Rebel Troopers Unit Expansion for Star Wars: Legion. I have not played Star Wars: Legion but I have enjoyed 2 other games from Fantasy Flight Games – Wings of Glory and X-Wing. As a big Dave Mersey fan, I am eagerly awaiting the release of Xenos Rampant – and these guys look just right for what I want to do.

Nicely done. Certainly better than mine

Agree on both counts.

Great job

Excellent job on a nice set of figures!

Small note for those considering these though. They are not 28mm. They are much larger at about 35mm. I was considering getting into Legion but the scale difference led me to instead go with WOTC and 3d printed 28mm figures that are more compatible with Imperial Assault and the rest of my miniature collection.

ordinarybass,

I'll have to look up WOTC and see what they have. Here is a size comparison with a GW Space Marine.

Great work – love the shading and weathering

DRB,
WOTC Star Wars minis are OOP, but can be found used. I just bought some from Tritex who has shockingly cheap shipping across the pond.

JS Wargamer Printing has some great and very affordable 28mm options.

The Legion figures are generally great looking, but as your picture shows, a standing trooper has a couple MMs on leaning marine that is probably about 30mm to the eye. There allot of other comparison shots out there between Legion and Imperial Assault and the difference are striking.
