Yep, same question's been asked on the private Facebook group with no response/update so far. Tensions killing me. |

Maybe we should start a bet between Empire and TSATF? Who finally shows up first? Or shows up at all? H |

Scott Bowden provided this update earlier today on Facebook: Hi, Apologies for the delay in responding, but since I work multiple jobs that easily total over 90 hours per week, time is my most valued commodity. One of my "jobs" is writing, and connected to that "job" there are currently five ongoing publishing projects in different stages of completion, of which the almost indescribably massive EMPIRE 7 is one (see previous posts here for info on scales, and much more). Now…that statement doesn't mean that the playing of the rules are more complex, just that the scope of including multiple scales, expanded research info, and much, much more translate into it being a massive project. However large the project is, progress is made every week, and I look forward to when my schedule allows for arranging of some in-depth play testing by many. Please feel free to share as you see fit. Anyone wishing to speak to me or message me direct has the freedom to do so (see previous post with phone number, etc.). I sincerely appreciate your interest and ask for your continued patience and good will. Best regards, SL |

Maybe he needs to do more on less. |

He probably works that hard because he has to. Publishing wargame rules and history is a labor of love, and it has to be, because it's not particularly remunerative. |

It doesn't matter if nothing is getting published. |

what is TSATF ? "The short and the fat"? "The sound and the fury"? "the sword and the flail"? |

The sword and the Flame is what TSATF stands for. It was a popular set of rules in the long long ago. |

I presume there is still no news especially with the Divisional size rules option? I am hoping they will allow small advance/rear guard actions to be fought. If not can anyone suggest how to adapt Empire V to refight such smaller actions? |
