Looking at both ranges with an aim of making a Late Achaemid Persian skirmish force. Also some ideas on colours.

If you happen to have a 3D printer there are STLs available for Persians. Cav, infantry, camel riders and chariots. With a little tinkering on scaling they mix ok with my Victrix. Weapons are a little chunky but I can live with that.

Virtualscratchbuilder do you have any links or suggestions where to go for the STLs please?
Thanks

3Dbreed.es. But I tell you what….their prices have goon through the roof. I bought the whole Greek/Persian package for around $70 USD back in June.

I've purchased several 3D resin printed mini's. They have fantastic detail, and their price was nice. However, I have managed to drop a couple of them, while painting them… They have all broken off just above the ankles. That is really disheartening. Sure, I can glue them, but that is not the point. I find them to be quite brittle. That is hard to accept: they are far more brittle than metal, and they are nothing compared to injection molded, softer plastic figures. Heck, even hard plastic injection molded figures are far less brittle.

While I love the 3D resin printed mini's, their brittleness is a significant hindrance to me buying more of them. Mini's get dropped in games -- it happens, and I don't get angry with the person who dropped them. I expect it to happen, it is just part of the game play. The resin figures are a genuine concern.

I got some repeating ballista figures, recently. I love them! But… I dropped one, while painting it, and one crewman snapped off, above the ankles. Ughhh!

YMMV. Cheers!

Never had that problem with what I have printed. I have printed several hundred figures, aircraft, starships and ships and the only breakage I have had is an engine on a Klingon frigate. They can be over cured to the point of brittle though.
