Practice for the Upcoming Fall In events – West Germany 1977 – can A Co 1/16th Inf (Iron Rangers) keep the T-62s of the 5th Guards Tank Division from taking Hunfeld? A bit of Nostalgia for
us old warriors. The US Army's Dunn-Kempf played Rules as written with original minis, terrain, and materials – 6 players defend against the OPFOR controllers

Your boards look to be in excellent condition. The last set I had my hands on back in 2002 were very abused.

What fort were the terrain boards liberated from?

Now that's impressive and inspiring.

Well done! I had heard that someone had run Dunn-Kempf, so glad to see the pictures.

… 79th PA – "What fort were the terrain boards liberated from?" …

Ft Lewis TASC – 1991 – they were 'out of the inventory' but not yet disposed of – consider myself lucky to have been in the right place at the right time

Nice!! Very jealous of those boards. To me the ultimate innovation of Dunn Kempf it the moving curtain prop! I can understand if you decided not to use it for the purposes of your game at a con, but I have two questions:

a)do you have an original curtain prop, or your own homemade version?

b)have you ever deployed it?

To me that prop is fascinating and I look forward to trying it out with a gaming buddy in the near future (my own home made version)

dsfrank03 Jan 2023 12:32 p.m. PST

MILSPEX 78 – No I don't have the curtain – none of the 3 sets I'd encountered ever had it – it was pretty universally hated – have thought of rigging something up but never have
