I'm painting a bunch of plastic FOW German falschirmjager for a friend. These are terrible figures! Soft detail, difficult to tell what things are. I generally don't like painting Germans, and the quality of these makes it even worse!

Compare them to PSC figures?

I've never seen PSC figures in person, just basing this on personal experience.

FoW squidgy plastic figs are a fail for sure. The hard plastic stuff is very good but they really ought to bring back their metal ranges which rocked.

I agree with the above poster. The metal figures were really good. Not impressed with this bendy plastic stuff from any manufacture. Its all geared to cost cutting rather than quality. I would rather pay more for metal or hard plastic.

I miss the days of metal. The figures had more character to them and especially the resin/metal tanks….when you held a King Tiger, it felt like a tank…..oh well….progress I guess. I just hope to be able to find small amounts of the old from time to time.

Not sure there has been much cost savings from metal to plastics…..but the metal figures where the difference between wargaming models they used to make and the toys and kit models they now make…..the reason I quit. I am going back to V3 with what is left of my metal armies….
