I'm reaching out to those planning to attend the upcoming Call to Arms Con for a shout if you're planning to be there.
This coming weekend, October 7-9, the Southeastern Tabletop Gaming Organization (SETGO) will be hosting a miniature gaming Convention in Williamsburg, VA, "Call to Arms."
In the past, Call to Arms had been an event held by the Old Dominion Military Society in Williamsburg, but marginal attendance and then Covid forced ODMS to discontinue it.
ODMS still puts on 2 shows in Tidewater Virginia each year. The Williamsburg Muster in February in Williamsburg, and Guns of August in August in Newport News.
While SETGO is reviving and hosting the event, ODMS is very much involved, providing guidance and support.
The event will be held at the Williamsburg Clarion Hotel on Rte 60 and Patriot Lane, about 10 miles NW of Busch Gardens.
A quick scan of the CTA Events List showed 30+ games, 5 tournaments, plus a separate slate of kids and RPG games and a board game room. Their website listed several vendors, but I'm pretty sure that more will actually be there.

FWIW, and just my personal $.02 USD, but this past February, the on-site restaurant was pretty affordable and actually quite good.
I'm not affiliated. I just like these shows, despite the 5 hour drive. :》
