Back in a very sunny July of this year, Mr Steve and I spend a very pleasant few hours exploring the treasures held by the Soldiers of Shropshire Regimental Museum.

The collection has some amazingly rare artefacts to be seen and I have posted a summary of our visit to give a flavour of the collection as a whole.

You have an excellent blog, JJ. I've spent a day or two at both the Chester and Shrewsbury museums, and hopefully when I go back to the UK I may be able to see a few more.

Have you ever been to the RNLY Museum, Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire? ( rlnymuseum.co.uk ) Well worth the visit, if you're up that way.

Keep up the good work, mate.

Hi Chaps,
Thank you for your comments, very much appreciated and glad you enjoyed the post.

Dal Gavan – Thank you for the recommendation and appreciation, hopefully an opportunity will present when I'm next in Nottinghamshire and I have it noted.

Cheers
JJ
