Hi everyone. Not sure if this is the right place for this post, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong spot. I used to get my classic Star Trek and Battlestar minis from Mel Kraley at Starfightershipyards.com. It's a one-man show so I'm used to waiting, but my transactions were generally pretty prompt. But now I have an order that's gone unanswered for a few months, then checking on the shop's Facebook page it seems other have as well; and now it looks like the starfightershipyards.com domain is up for sale. Does anyone know what happened to Mel? Is he okay? Is he still in business? Thanks! |

I read somewhere he was done making decals. Might have been on another forum. I've seen them come up on some model sites so you might try there or ask if they have stock. |

I think he had some health problems a couple of years ago, and then just dropped out of the business. I had to get my money back through PayPal the last time I ordered from him. It's a shame. He had some very nice decals. |

Yeah, that's a shame. He had all the right stuff to scratch that itch. I hope he stays well. Looks like I need to shop around for someone who supplies original BSG and GameScience Star Trek. |
