I was watching a YouTube video on Historicon 2022 and they did a short interview with someone who had commissioned a teddy bear fur mat from someone. But they did not give info on who did the work.

Anyone have a contact who someone who does commission fur mats?

War Sigil does mats that look really nice.

There was a couple in Fayetteville, NC also but I can't recall their names.

My interest in creating my own mat has been rekindled. Is there a specific type or brand of this fur that works best? Who sells it? I am looking to make some European themed mats for 15mm ww2 gaming.

It also doubles as a shag carpet for your 73 Chevy Van.

Killing Fields Terrain sell some nice mats. It is a simple job to carve roads into them.

We're commissioning teddy bears? I didn't think they could salute properly.

I'm pretty sure I remember talking to a guy several years ago about it. He had a fantastic WW2 setup that was the best table at Historicon (in my opinion, but he did win a trophy).

Try Spudnick. His blog has been idle for a while. If you search it he has photos of his teddy bear fur mats for commission.

Look for relevant groups or communities on Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit where miniature wargamers or crafters gather. cheap sod gold
