Just got these in and I managed to get photos of the full set of sprues. Good looking models and broken down enough to allow a lot of customization. The full set of pictures are here: link |

I'm sorry, but Space Squats just sounds… undignified! Unfortunately, I don't have any good alternate suggestions. Outer Space Short Guys? Little Men from Outer Space? Half-Height-Double-Wides? Probably why I don't work there! By and by, interesting review. I enjoy reading all of them! |

Well, they're called the "Leagues of Votann" now … |

Nice pictures, but how big are they? Up to four reviews so far, and all I get is "shorter than Space Marines"--nothing that tells me whether I could integrate them into my classic Squat army. |

About 21mm tall to my recollection, I will get some shots with a scale on Tuesday |

Would also like to know about the size of the Votaan. Idealy from ground to eyeline. I'm midway through a blog post about WGA Einerjar Space dwarves with lots of comparisons so I just happen to have a whole mess of measurements at hand. Classic Squats are between 18mm (plastics) and 20mm (larger of the metals) from ground to eyeline. My suspicion is that the new Squats/Votaan will be much larger as GW dwarves in LoTR are about 22.5mm to the eye (as are the WGA Einerjar) and though I don't have any at-hand, I've heard that GW's AoS Dwarves and Necromunda Squats are larger still. A couple mm's matters alot with figs this small. If they are 21mm as Anton suggests, they they'd be compatible. Anything over 23mm (and I suspect they are bigger) and they will be painfully large by comparison. |

The back armor extends above the top of figure's head by a couple of mm so I am going to go out on a limb and guess that the actual height of the dwarf is around 22mm |

They look like short space marines… |

I believe they are. Humans after generations of living on high gravity worlds. That's how you make dwarves. |
