Looking for 15mm sculpts of Afghan soldiers of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. Does anyone make them? If not are there any decent proxies? Thanks

I've seen photos of DRA soldiers in Russian helmets, berets, and caps with AK-47s. You can get good figures for these types from Peter Pigs AK-47 line.

Do consider the Peter Pig hardened militia and Russian helmet troops.

If you're up for making some modifications, you could use some of the "WW2 German Combat Caps" heads from Peter Pig to show the DRA troops in soft caps, which is what I've seen them usually wearing.

And then apart from the regular army, militia groups on both sides would have looked more or less the same, depending on ethnic group.
