"We know that after death we will go to Hell. But in Hell we will be the best!" In Russia, the first feature film on the theme of a "Special Military Operation" is being released: "The Best in Hell". The film is being shot with the money of the Wagner PMCs and tells about the participation of this formation in the fighting in Ukraine. youtu.be/cKhZrlg0WBI |

Now DON'T GET THIS WRONG! Film clip looked Very good. But do not read Russian. Mercs… 'can' be very good and professional… others… scum with weapons. Those, Best Dead. Always been the same. Wagner, or Chechens with Rus… probably zero life expectancy. But… how many have watched 'The Dirty Dozen', or similar…over the years? I was never comfortable with it. NOT advocating Wagner…probably mainly scum… just a thought. |

Mercs… 'can' be very good and professional… others… scum with weapons. Those, Best Dead. Yes … but many don't see PMC/Mercs as only "bad guys". Which is obviously incorrect. IIRC, more PMCs died in A'stan and Iraq than regular troops. Many PMCs are former military too. I think those numbers need to be added to the overall losses. But yes, Wagner mercs are scum … Hell may be too good for them. Just like islamic terrorists. Is there a worse place then Hell for these pieces of💩…? |

What's the old saying: If I owned hell and Texas, I'd live in hell and rent out Texas. |

Based on what I see going on along the TX border … I think it isn't being rented out … it's being overrun ! |

Now, I can have 'some' sympathy with Mercs. Servicemen may not have had any other life… signed up to get away from 'home', found 'under orders' and 'mates/buddies' suited them. And Then… Nothing. Want to be 'Professionals' using training. Or… Civvie street… decisions.. and all the **** that goes with life? 'Merc' or a cardboard box? Some find Merc very lucrative… just depends on the individual. In UK, maybe 1 in 5 'Homeless' on the street will be ex-service. LOT more than in 80s. I do not go into Town much… but they are there. Maybe to MY detriment, I avoid. Maybe, I should 'give' something… but you HAVE to be cautious. In younger years Old 'Tramps', picking at bins… may have been ex-troops, never recovered, just survived. You, now, wonder. Some Mercs are just scum. Just want the thrill, power and 'benefits'. |

I agree, many of our PMCs in Iraq & A'stan were Combat Vets. And most performed well and many died. You want professionals with combat experience. Who know not to commit war crimes, etc. AFAIK none of our PMCs did those. |

The film has been released and has already been posted on YouTube. Unfortunately, there is no English translation yet. This is a rather unusual film. I would call it a screened battle report from the wargame gaming table. Russian units are tasked with capturing the tallest building in the city to house an aircraft spotter there in order to direct an air strike on a Ukrainian migrating artillery battery of 203 mm cannons (a bit of a strange task in my opinion with active drones on both sides). To do this, Russian assault groups need to capture several buildings in succession. Both sides of the conflict are actively supported by tanks and artillery. The film constantly shows the progress of the operation on the map and explains the tasks of the parties. The attitude towards the participants in the events, both Ukrainian and Russian, is absolutely neutral. It just shows people doing their job. At the end of the film, the arrival of reinforcements to the Russians and to the Ukrainians is shown, to whom the commanders say almost the same words, which leaves a feeling of meaninglessness of what is happening. A strange film, especially considering that it was filmed with the money of a private military company. YouTube link |

I guess I'll save the bullet this time. Hm, Wagner Group you say… Wagner Group? Aren't they the contractors who dig the mass graves for the Russians in the occupied territories of Ukraine and Belgorod Oblast? And disguise them as anti-tank lines and the gravestones as dragon's teeth? Did you know that we Germans also called them Hitler's teeth? Well, in the end they were broken off and pulled. Dear audience, and the next time in this theater we present to you the professional work of the Dirlewanger brigade. With professional objectivity and under the independent direction of their own embedded PR clowns troupe. This is getting ridiculous. Just shoot the clowns. |
