Today was the return after 2 years, of one of my 'go to' shows, Border Reiver at Gateshead, in North East England.

I have a lot of photos on my blog at this link

I hope you enjoy walking round it with me!

It looks like a good show, Herk. Yes, I'm jealous!

Hi Richard

Border Reiver certainly looked a bit quiet in your extensive photo report. Well done for mounting that.

It is a show I normally attend but this year I would have to have travelled on my own and I'm not sure my personal endurance would allow that never mind the cost in petrol; a 5 hour plus round trip for me.

I do hope to have company later in the year which will make attending Battleground a strong possibility.

Hope to see you and everyone else in Middlesbrough.

Jim

I ran 2 Test of Resolve Wars of the Roses games at 3 a side and all 12 participants seemed to enjoy themselves so it was well worth coming

Thank you for that report. Much appreciated. Now I want some large Battlefleet Gothic ships…:(

Thanks Guys, I was only sorry I turned down a chance to do the WotR game with Dave, I was trying to get all the pics I needed…

PS Those huge Battlefleet Gothic ships are very impressive, but where would you store them???! – I haven't the Space!

Moonbeast19 Sep 2022 1:02 p.m. PST

Don't suppose you know who makes them or has the 3D print files Herky? I do have the space, and could see a half dozen V.S. half dozen fight on a large floor with Aeronautica Imperalis fighters thrown in for fun.:)

Sorry Moonbeast! I only know they are the 'Forlorn Hope Wargames group' based in Stanley, Co Durham, NE England, and their FB link

Thanks for the information Herky. Much appreciated.
