The speed and efficiency of Ukraine's counteroffensive in the northeastern region of Kharkiv came as a stunning surprise to the Russian military. RFE/RL spoke to some of the Ukrainian soldiers involved, who described their tactics.

Looks like good tactics and sound planning.

along with US SOF assistance

Agreed … Good training, motivation, proper equipment and leadership makes all the difference. Just seems the Russian had good equipment, but lacked everything else.

Good equipment poorly maintained and supplied.

Yes, that is all part of Russia's incompetence …

Elvis was in the US ARMY … not the Russian !

If you are alluding to Russian using deception, I don't think their troops on the ground's leadership is capable. Or even higher. Never underestimate your enemy but IMO, the Russian's only method is to try and use force. Seems they are not very good at it.

Boris ! Where is Natasha ?!?

HMS Exeter18 Sep 2022 9:26 p.m. PST

I think Natasha is at FSB HQ explaining why she never tried to search the pool storage room, or find Whittaker Chamber's pumpkin.

Along with NATO planners and intelligence sharing; and, I'm sure, some bilateral intelligence sharing between the US and Ukraine.

I think Natasha is at FSB HQ
Good place as any for her.

Along with NATO planners and intelligence sharing; and, I'm sure, some bilateral intelligence sharing between the US and Ukraine.
I think so too … NATO wants to help the Ukraine attrite Putin's force as much as they can. Make the Russians less of a threat … to the world.
