I have collected books on this conflict and have planned to play it for a decade now. I think I am going to pull the trigger cause life is too short. I'm going Perry all the way for figures. Can anyone recommend a set of rules for the period? FM

There was a set of rules from "The Perfect Captain". The site is now dead. I think there is a Facebook site where you may be able to get a copy. I have a set which I was going to use for the Portuguese "War of the Two Brothers". |

You could also use a Napoleonic set since most of the tactics were still based on those used in the Napoleonic Wars. Jim |

I had originally planned on using Patriots and Loyalists since it is within the same time frame. But I prefer TMWWBK so my group plans on using those rules (with some slight modifications). |

I have run several Carlist War games using Black Powder. The rules play well, but they are somewhat generic. |
