Hey all
Wanted to share my recent experience with old glory 25s and their 15mm Blue Moon Crusader range.

Service- Outstanding-I messed up my army card purchase.Emailed them and Teresa had it fixed within 20 minutes of my email(I emailed after midnight :)

Shipping – 2 weeks to Canada- very pleased.

Figure Quality – excellent detail and minimal flash mostly at the mold pouring lines.Easy to clean up.

Figure size- Fit in great with my existing old glory 15mm lines.Donnington Huns/ late roman minis i bought 25 years ago are the same size of blue moon.I dont get the debate on 15-18mm..its negligible.

Mounted- couldnt find this online- all mounted are break waist castings-love this especially for the horse archers.

Metal- firm. Do not have to replace lances spears if you dont want to ( I will im a broom bristle convert)

Is it cast or not?- its cast just like in the pics..if you see a lance..its cast..if not…add your own.All shields are cast seperate.

Cant wait to start painting them!

THX.

Yup, Old Glory 25s is a great company. Always liked the people. The owner's wife is especially nice and very helpful.

Is it still a personal attack if you say it about yourself?

Great company to work with.

I would just like to find out how to order some 15mm True North products. I can't find them on the website.

Agree with the Antiochus. Old Glory 25mm (more like 28mm) are great figures--great action poses, great variety, and solid figures all around. With the army card they the best figures of their size for the price. The only problem is that if you only want a few figures the bag usually has 30 infantry or 10 cavalry. Other than that, excellent company all around. I don't understand the appeal of the multi pose plastic figures that cost as much or more than Old Glory, require many more hours of work, and have delicate parts than can easily break. Old Glory is much better in every category. I hope they continue in business for many years to come.

I really like the Blue Moon figures I have, and have replaced some older figures with some of theirs.

I wouldn't say the 15-18mm debate is negligible though. Blue Moon foot figures tower over, say, Peter Pig or Essex.

Absolutely! Old Glory gives top notch service. The figures have a great variety of animation!
I'm a big fan of their product lines!
A+++

I just painted up thier "Great Heathen Army". I am painting thier "Anglo-Saxons" now. Good, strong casts. Very good service, on the off chance I have a minor issue it is always resolved, quickly, fairly, and honestly. Makes it easy to spend there.
