Hello, I am looking to commission a number of 3 x 3 and 4 x 6 boards as well as a coupe Warhammer and 40K sized boards. These will include: An Old West board suitable for a town An Old West/US Southwest open area board A Dark ages Ireland style board A Colosseum for 28mm Gladiator games A Sci-Fi game board others I would be happy to discuss more details. I am in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ideally, would like to find someone or different game artists in the region (would drive to pick up). However, for something really special, we would consider shipping or a longer drive. Does anyone recommend a "Gaming Artist" who is really good for these kind of commissions? Any artists out there please contact me. Thank you |

Hi Zoltar, just jumping in the thread to say there's a bunch of other gamers in the Milwaukee area if you're looking for players. |

I would not be a good source, and I'm sure you'll get better recommendations, but if you wouldn't mind satisfying my curiosity, what makes a board "Sci-Fi?" (The boards I use for (1) Green Martians and Jawas (2) Ewoks and Wookie's and (3) Mega City One Judges and my wretched hive of scum and villainy seem quite different to me, but your phrasing implies a consensus, and I'd love to know what it is.) |

Hi Robert…I think of it a couple of ways…either a really alien landscape or something like a 40k ruined city scape |

I am an avid terrain builder and have built lots of different terrain boards for my own use and for my friends. If you want an idea of what my work looks like go to this link link
I'm in metro Detroit (and I have a pick-up truck) so bringing it to you would be simple enough. I specialize in terrain boards that assemble into their own crate to ease storage. Contact me at daftrica89@yahoo.com if you are interested
