Starting a historical battle of sorts, Battle of Kay but in the Napoleonic era. Having only Russians and Prussians decided to refight the 7yw battles with their numbers and organizations but with Napoleonic tactics. I think my game board is close but spreading out in linear formation would have needed to add another table. But it is Napoleonic so battalions in columns and jagers in skirmish line closed up the lines. Russians have a few defense moves so going to play Prussians with correct reinforcement as happened. |

1 hr down and Prussians in trouble, they can't buy a die roll. The East Prussians charged the flank of the Russian battery and couldn't close. The Pomeranians t Rueda a frontal but broke. Even the Bombardament round only had 1 round, the Russians had the normal 2. Hulsen up next |

link End of 2 Only Prussian success is getting one Russian battery off the table but continuing extremely bad die rolls. The Russians are clearing out the Prussian heavy artillery Stutterheim joins the fight next. The Pomeranians should have waited for help. |

End of 4 rounds, as Empire rules can do each side had a impulse cut short from a failed moral.
Wobersnow got swept off the high area north of Glogsen. |

The cavalry does come to give the infantry time to back out The Silesian Cuirassiers cleaned out the rear units a bit and the Scots Grey's ( Prussians don't have enough Cuirassiers so their allies get to step in) went straight through 1st Position btry ( 1/2) and onward . Prussians lost 23 figures to small arms ( black caps) 57 figures to artillery ( red caps) 4 figures to close action ( would be white) 84 Russians lost 25 figures to small arms 24 figures to artillery 14 figures to close action 63 total |
