Well, my Camel Corps Week has come to an end and I was able to paint and finish the dozen 54mm Armies In Plastic Camel Corps figures that I had on my painting table.

I now have 40 mounted camels and 4 pack camels with a goal of having 60 and 8, respectively.

These figures give you a preview of the Sudan Project game that I will be running at Historicon 2023

Nick,

From Jim's blog posting link , he states:
I did an inventory of the number of dismounted Camel Corps figures that I have and the number has grown to a staggering 64 figures! My plan is for each soldier to have a corresponding soldier riding a camel.

Jim those are great looking. I am assuming all of your dismounted figures are metal as AIP never got around to putting out foot versions.

I have a huge pile of camels, I need to get back to my Sudan project. At present I am doing a 2nd Mexican American War (or Maxmillian-American War) using loads of AIP, Steve Weston Bandits, A Call to Arm, and in the near future Imex.

I plan on using metal Britains or repainting some old Steadfast metal figures for the Camel Corps. The AIP Northwest Frontier British look very close, uniform wise.
