I'm surprised you haven't received any answers yet. Although not a Florida resident, I know that the Tampa-St. Petersburg area sponsors two large regional HMGS conventions every year -- Recon in the Spring and Hurricon in the Fall. Recently moved to Orlando myself. Haven't seen any historical miniatures but Warhammer and Star Wars appears to be very prevalent. Won't be able to go to the fall convention as I will be out of town. Hope to check out the one in the spring. |

Definitely not Tampa. It's all Warhammer here. Zero stores carry anything historical at all |

Come to HURRICON and RECON in Kissimmee (Orlando) for some of the best miniatures gaming in the South. The conventions are twice each year (April & September) and you can easily find other gamers in the area who are probably interested in the same stuff as you. link |
